Scholarship. Attended a Vespucci Summer Institute on GI Science Supporting Virtual Globes in Tuscany, Italy.

Award. SPACE (Spatial Perspectives on Analysis for Curriculum Enhancement) Instructional Development Award to attend an International Crime Mapping Conference in.

Scholarship. Attended a week long workshop at the University of San Diego. The workshop was part of an NSF funded Spatial Perspectives on Analysis for Curriculum Enhancement (SPACE) program.

Promoted to Associate Professor, Methodist College.
